[NTLK] Card lending service

Hi all,

recently people asked if the card lending service is still available.

As a matter of fact it is. Although currently I do not have as much time for Newton issues as I
would like to have, I can still provide this service.

Basically this works as follows:

1) You send EUR 15.00 plus whatever I pay for postage from Germany plus 3.9% PayPal fee plus EUR
0.35 to my PayPal account

2) I send you a (rarely) used Intel Linear Flash 20MB memory card with heaps of drivers on it, among
them the (now freeware) WLAN driver, Eckhart's Bluetooth Drivers, Courier browser etc. This should
be enough to get you going.

3) Once you are all set, you decide whether you want to keep the card. So far all people did. If you
don't, simply send it back at your expense. Once I have it back, I'll refund what you paid minus
what I paid for stamps and PayPal fee.

If you want more than one card: No problem. I have some left that I could live without.

PS Note that some Apple drivers insist on being installed on the internal store. This means I can't
install them as packages on the card. Which in turn means that you need to restore your Newton from
a backup that I will put on the card. Off the top of my head I'm not sure if your current Newton
data would be endangered. I don't think it would, but at two in the morning I can't think straight
enough to say for sure. So if you want to be on the safe side, let me know and I will send you two
cards. This would allow you to back your Newton up first. You could keep the second card for an
additional EUR 15.00 or send it back with the first one if you decide you do not want either.
