Actually, if you go to a place that specializes in poutine (yes, they do
exist where I come from), then you can have all kind of poutine varieties,
like with sausage, peas, etc. The same goes for the gravy. BTW, the 2nd most
popular type of poutine, after the regular one, is the "italian poutine".
You basically substitute the regular gravy with spaghetti meat sauce. Again,
although this might sound like a strange mix, it's actually very good, and
more substantial(?) than the regular poutine gravy...
