My FIRST computer was an Apple IIc. The point is that Gates & MS were
blown away when the Woz and Jobs demonstrated the Apple I and its system
when Gates only had a crude kludge DOS

No, you can sell a ton of product and make money EVEN though the product
is not that good. The Beta vs VHS "war" is an example. Beta is a far
superior system, but was trounced by one that was "just good enough"
for the great unwashed masses. The same goes in Mac OS vs. Windows;
Windows is "just good enough".
