It's perfectly suited for my job - I assign things to a report
( can't go into detail ) and then fax it back
to the guys staying behind. I've created phone lists for my shop the
last time I was on that det so we
could consolidate our crummy handwritten ones. All that information
conveniently located! :)
Although yes, faxing isn't nearly as common or necessary as it used
to be, it definitely comes in handy.
Must be my inner Boy Scout "being prepared". :)
I used both the "cigarette pack" and PCMCIA modems - both worked great!
...even might have sold a buddy of mine on getting a Newton - he sees
me bring my MP 100 to our
meetings and taking notes on it all the time.
