   Not to defend him, but he needs to get the original battery to recell
from somewhere. Unless he's has made an injection mold for it, which
isn't cheap.

   I've heard (on this list) that the highest capacity cells are
slightly longer than the standard cells, so they are harder to fit into
the case. Note that that's what I heard at some time in the past.
Battery tech may well have gotten smaller since then.
