It seems odd that almost all of the stinkers have evolved a following and
are almost all collectors items. I recently read an article in a PC magazine
that the newton, cube, TAM and powerbook 5300 are all considered triumphs
in computer design and functionality and each have their own following.
Sorry no mention of pippin or macintosh TV in that article. It seems odd
that these praises would end up in a pc article acknowledging the
contributions of apple to computing and would then be slammed in an apple
journal. The main point of the article was that without apple and the mac we
would still be typing on a plain text screen with 64kb memory and no mouse.
