Yep, that's as high as it goes on the current version.
Here are the available recording levels:
- Very Low (1K/sec)
- Low (1.5K/sec)
- Medium (2K/sec)
- High (2.5K/sec)
I've found that backlight off, speaking about 6-12 inches away directly
at the speaker works best. Also, it seems to work smoother with storage
of the audio to the internal vice PC Card memory.
I played with Voice Notes for the trial period a few months back. At
that time, I decided that it was not worth the cost based on my current
needs.
Since Laurent asked for a double check, I just downloaded it and
installed on my MP2100. I've had to reset after just using it for 5
minutes. Not sure what the problem was/is since my Newt has very little
software installed on it.
One good thing, is that they provide a full functioning demo which is
available for download. The demo expires in 15 days. I would suggest
that if anyone is interested in using this Voice Notes, to try out the
demo and see if it works for you.
