Buy four clip on contacts. Buy a 30 watt iron. Carefully, remove the thermister and polyfuse slowly with a pair of needle nose pliers, keep the original harness. solder the new contacts to the old harness. Takes less than five minutes, and cost less than $20.00 USD, plus you can simply pop in new batteries in the future.

I found two battery guys willing to do the work; however shipping seems to drive the price up.

1) $55 CAD for labour and cells, waiting for battery to come back to examine the work, I did send instructions on how to do it

2) $10 (CAD?) for just labour, I didn’t go for this because I would have had to find the cells myself which would decrease turn around time 

Shipping cost me $11 CAD each way. So, my total was $77 CAD which is slightly cheaper than Newtonsales.com.

Cells were upgraded from 1200 mah to 2100 mah.
