My question is, do the Pre apps work when the phone isn't connected to
the internet?
Perhaps that's just linguistics, the phone runs on WebOs so does it
need the web?
I owned two Palm devices after the newton was discontinued, and both
died stupid, unnecessary deaths.
I remain a little leery of Palm.
As for Sprint, I used Sprint phones for 9 years and never had a
connection or quality problem. The reason I left was that Sprint
reached through my nose to get at my wallet for every service. They
wouldn't let me directly connect my phone to my computer to transfer
photos; I had to upload to their servers then download, and I had to
pay for the privilege. Bluetooth headsets only worked on two of their
models (LG phones, yeesh). Has any of this changed in the past 3 years?
