Actually I love my netbook with osx on it. Although slow compared to a macbook it was a very nice low cost upgrade from my (over 6 year old) ibook and it runs 10.5. My only regret is getting the cheaper model that has a slow SSD instead a HDD, although I can easily get a new zif HDD to fit it from ebay. I believe there is a few other happy hackintosh netbook users here too. How much power and fancy crap do you really need to surf the internet and check email? I'm even learning [trying to learn really] iphone programming on mine and its handling xcode and itunes (for videos from apple dev and Stanford) very well. I usually have xcode, itunes, and preview (for documentation) all open at once on different "spaces" and it works very well. Considering I only spent about $280 USD (netbook + 1/5 osx family pack + wifi card) its been an amazing little machine for half the Mac mini's price* and way more mobile.
*yes I'm sure its only half or less of the Mac mini's performance but I'm good with that, its fast enough for me right now.

Think about the Air. Apple doesn't seem to care that they sell a lot. And the Air is an awesome computer. Netbooks, on the other hand, are not. People are just starting to warm up to the Air, and if Apple lowers its price...
