Holy cow! I think I originally bought my Newton 2000 with case and keyboard BRAND NEW from Apple for $1100 in 1997.

$1389 here in 2009... Simply amazing. :P

This is exceedingly high @ £853 or $1389.

J and K sales sell mint condition 2100s for about £100. Knowledge Navigator will sell you a mint unit for $400 and these are generally the most expensive prices today.

Your suggestion is really quite unreasonable.
