I have a couple of friends who own a Newton, so I see other Newtons
everytime I visit Italy and meet those friends. Apart from this, the
last time I saw another stranger with a Newton was exactly in 2002: it
was the guy who sold me his clamshell iBook G3/466 graphite. When we
met and he saw I was carrying a Newton, he asked me if we could meet
some other time to chat about the Newton, do some software exchange
(no pirating, of course), and exchange some tips & tricks. I actually
helped him out figure a problem in his setup that prevented him to
install some packages on his MP2100 (if I remember correctly). I did
envy the cosmetic conditions of his MP2100 -- it looked new and had a
very strong backlight :)
