[NTLK] Error code 77 and other MP 130 fun

Greetings list,
       I just acquired a MP 130 - and am having some difficulty
getting it to work properly.
      Here are a couple of issues I've been having:
       I have been able to load a couple of packages using NCX but it
seems now every time
I try to open "Connection" it give me this message:
      "Sorry, a problem has occurred. (77) "
       I had loaded up Avi's Backdrop and made it the default
background but every time I
tried to open the recent package menu, it gave me the same error.
       In fact, pretty much every package I try to use gives me the
same one.
       I've seen a couple of others, but of course now that I have my
130 next to me it won't
do it. :)

       Am I in deep trouble or is this something which can be
remedied? I looked up this "77"
on the Newton Error Code list but found nothing.
      On the same subject, if it comes down to it, how do I perform a
brain wipe and start over?
Is it the same way as on the MP 2x00?
