Yes, you are right on 2 counts ! I didn't scan the text properly before
hitting enter. To correct my meaning, the liturgical reference is to the
ICEL English translations which removed 13 mentions in the Ordinary Prayers,
which are heard every Sunday (rather than to the Seasonal Prayers such as
the Epistle and Gospel - which do make mention at various times of the
year). And yes, it's a complicated topic, best off-list.
