[NTLK] I want an emate

It just struck me that an emate might be the perfect tool for writing anywhere I want to.
I just have to get the writing onto my imac w/ OS 10.4 eventually.
If I get an emate with a good hinge, good battery and add an ethernet card, is that it?
I would need to network it via ethernet, since I don't have appletalk ports anymore.
Just thought I'd check before I bid on ebay.
Unless there's a better place to buy one?
