[NTLK] 2100 "AA" Battery tray questions

Hello again,
      Who among you uses the "AA" Battery tray for the 2000/2100? I have
one but one of the sides doesn't seem to "fit" - all of the cells fit but
one of the sides doesn't make contact or seem to have a way of keeping it
snug - do you wedge some paper or a sliver of wood in the end of it?
