Last year there was a thread about Apple ordering huge quantities of plastic
cases from a foreign manufacturing plant that some thought could have been
the next generation Newton. FWIR, the description sounded a lot like the
mini-Mac Apple recently announced. Someone even did some renderings of the
case, and posted a URL on NTLK.

I searched the archives but can't locate the thread. I want to compare the
case description and rumor to what Apple released with the new mini-Mac.

Does anyone remember where to look?
