Let me first thank those that took a shot at troubleshooting this issue.
I know that we (ME) often ask for help and miss a very obvious answer.
Unfortunate for me I've got too many Newtons laying around and when I
use them (there are two out of the Norm) which always throw a wrench
in the formula when trying troubleshoot an issue.
These are the two units which I use as my Primary Unit and my Primary
Backup Unit... they however both have a Turbo Switch installed and I
seem to take them for granted at times and forget to double check that
they are in Normal mode before asking for help... this was the case
here...
The last solution suggested I try setting the Modem to External
Modem... hmm I check and don't see that option... then for some odd
reason I remember that I did not check the Turbo Switch... well NOW it
works and I can Sync on the Wallstreet... now I'm PC, Color Classic
and Wallstreet capable to sync and install packages to my Newtons...
My apologies for the waste of bandwidth - when the answer was already
at the TIP of my stylus... arrgh!!!
