Hi,

I have a repaired ribbon cable that I would trade for either
your 8MB card or the screen, provided you send me your
dead cable along with it.
I could also trade you a repaired cable for your dead one
plus 15 Euro plus what I pay at the post office.

Unless you take care of the hinge spring problem, it wouldn't
make sense to spend time and money on replacing the cable.
