I had to think about this as I recalled doing this before.
I went back in memories to when I first had my MP100 in 1996. I
recalled then that I put the Apple number in using the letters and
remember it working.
Just to make sure I did this test on my MP100 and it works - So I can
definitely say it has been a feature at least since the first
iteration of the MP!
They sure made it right then and continues to be a overall well though
out King of the PDAs. (Though some features on the OMP did not work as
well as the last iteration.)
Yes, I was hoping someone else would chime in here. Seems that no one
else recalled this feature. Please chime in someone...youmust have
tried it when it first came out...with the telephone call letters...
