Hi there,

I've fixed my dumb MP2100 by taking the back off and disconnecting/
reconnecting the speaker connector. It somehow got the sound working
again! Woohoo!

The speaker connector is a 2 wire orange plug / socket near the port end
of the Newton. This method has already been posted on the list somewhere
else. I can confirm it as a solution to no sound.
