Well, you could download the entire document from biblegateway.com,
chapter by chapter (that's how they have it available). You could
then use one of the NewtonBook applications to convert it. This would
require some effort on your part, and it would not be distributable
because of copyright. It does, however, have the advantage of being
free, except for your time and effort.
If you want one that is distributable... there is no reason you cannot
grab a King James Version and update the language yourself. You could
create your very own version... the Newton Version, and make it
available for free, or for a fee. It would be an excelent exercise
for a Bible scholar, but of limited utility in practical terms. Don't
let that stop you from trying, though!
A few months ago, I downloaded the KJV and began to convert to
NewtonBook format. I found that the entire document was too big to
fit on the 4 GB card in my MP 110. This does not prevent one from
loading up a chapter a week, though.
