I'd be glad to help by fixing a bug in ATA Support, but I think it's
very probably a bug in NCU which is known to be extremely unstable.
The data on the ATA card isn't exactly like the data on the linear
card (I mean you didn't clone the card), hence the -1 error. I've
seen -1 errors with NCU on all sort of cards.
