If you havent already, try a web based email like hotmail, or yahoo, or one
of a million others, with your pop forwarded to it. A not as well known
service might escape their Palentir.

Just be careful, IT guys usually (heh) do what the upper level tells them,
so actively trying to do an end run might get you that other job.
