Over at the incomparable XLR8yourmac.com today there is a story and a
link to a sony card that is a drop in replacement for the Apple airport
card (original).

This looks very interesting ,as it looks like it is designed to work in
PCMCIA socket and it has what appears to be a very flush detachable
antenna? The thing I think is an antenna might be a filler only, but
it sure looks like this might be the super slick wifi solution for Newt
that doesn't protrude.
