I just transferred some names, drawn and text

2000 over to my OMP (for backup purposes), so I'd say
that your 120 and 2000U should talk just fine. Check
the ambient lighting, and make sure the two MP's
serial ports are within a couple of feet of each other
and directly in the line-of-sight.
Also you might want to turn off beam confirmation,
at least for this exercise. I found that by doing so,
my beams went faster.

You would have to use the import function of NCU in
order to get information from outside of NCU into the
Newton. This should not overwrite your Newton's
current information, as far as I can tell (I've
imported quite a bit of text and other tidbits through
NCU to my Newton). I don't know the solution to the
drawn note problem, although you should be able to
beam it across.
