Most screen protectors today use an adhesive that is not "sticky" and
leaves no film or residue. Those screen protectors of old were littl
emore than big pieces of tape, now they are more liek those window
stickers that peel off by liftinf a corner.

If you use the transparency method, then there is no adhesive involved.
