I would say the standard would be a WaveLAN card (Bronze/Silver or Gold) and
any of it's clones (rebadged) that have been reported to work. They seem to
have the best reception reported. I have the COMPAQ version and it works
fine with the WaveLAN drivers and the MoreWiFi.pkg so the driver can
recognize the card's ID string.

I have the same card Rev. J3 the 16bit card w/Grey Crescent Antennae) it
works fine for me. Just make sure it's not Cardbus (32bit w/copper strip
along the connector edge)
