Peter,
the farallon cards are the same as the older 3C589 (OEM versions). The 3=
C589D=20
cards are a lot faster from my experience, on PowerBooks and Newtons. I u=
sed=20
to have a 3C589 and a Farallon and the similarity of the two prompted me=20
initially to try to modify the binary version of the Farallon driver. The=
re=20
were only 4 bytes which needed to be changed and it worked great - and it=
=20
still worked with the 3C589D cards to my surprise, since this card needed=
new=20
drivers on Windows as well as the Newton.
