The card was fine, but I was missing Lextionary each time *sigh*

Well at least the card was ok and only the data was damaged. It is even
worse if you loose the data and the card is runied.

Somethings that really concern me though. First the Newton sometimes resets
itself (rare but it can happen with a really bad error), second many sleep
or utlity packages leave a buttion on the screen so you can quickly change
orentation, reset, or sleep so it would be easy to accidently hit reset when
you ment to hit sleep. And lastly if the Newt looses power it will then
reset itself when power is restored.

With the above posiblites (two of them created by Apple when the machine was
designed), I suspect that the problem is with larger cards as well (they
never planned on anyone using a card larger than 4mb). Or with certain
cards that have a design flaw from the start. Of course it could have been
that a certain package keeps the card in a odd state (as Peter suggested),
but that would not explain Doppler's problem with the whole thing getting
wiped.

Oh another thing I thought of, somtimes a Newt will totally lock up and you
can't unmount the card normally and pulling out a card before the Newt has
safely shut it down can damage the data as well. I guess in that case pull
the battery pack the pull the cards? Or do you think this will damage them
as well?
