Has anyone been able to load this book that is
still available on Planet Newton? It sounds like
a different and creative collection of art work
but I get an error in the midst of loading it on
my newton and suspect the file is corrupt. I'm
curious what this is all about and can't find the
original source link which apparently goes back
to 1995 or so.

Any insight appreciated.

Ho, ho, ho.

Dale

This "Newton Storybook" is a totally new concept
for the Newton digital book format. There are 50
pages of original artwork rendered in the
classical storybook style to compliment the
cheerful and original text. The 48
highly-detailed illustrations make this storybook
an impressive way to show-off the capabilities
(and screen display) of your Newton to others and
also makes fascinating visually-oriented reading
for children. Like all "Newton Books", you can
draw on the pages, mark them for later reference,
print or fax them.
The mythical/mystical Mist Babies are little
fairies who live in America's most popular and
highly-visited national park "the Great Smoky
Mountains". To our knowledge, this is the first
time that fictional storybook characters actually
reside, live and play in a real-world setting.
Their little world is made-up of the popular
locations familiar to the millions of visitors to
the Smokies. Many who have read the book
instantly recognize and respond with "I know that
place" or "I've been there too!"
