Yesterday I went for lunch at a place called Rigatoni's and had a big plate
of poutine...mmmm salt with fat and fat on fat. That is something that you
can only do once a year (much like cashew curry). But I digress...
I received my 3COM 3C589D from Tom Zahm (thanks) yesterday. This morning I
downloaded the drivers and can now print to our HP5000 laser printer that
is attached to an NT4 server box. IT WORKS! Next step is making sure that
TCP/IP works properly, then the web server, then Manhattan, then Berlin.
Thanks to Tom, Victor at CHUMA, Grant (even though he lives in
Calgary), Sculley, Maurice Sharp, Steve (for finally freezing the specs),
and all the rest of the people who figure that they had a hand in anything
at some point in their lives.
Have a happy Christmas even if you don't want to!
Andrei
