Hello all,
I'm having trouble getting my Newton on my
home network. I'm using the 3Com 3C589D-TP
card. When I go through the Internet Setup
on the Newton, 3C589D-TP is not one of the choices
but 3C589D was so I went with that.
So the fact that I didn't get 3C589D-TP for an
ethernet card could be a problem.
But I also did not install the packages in this
order:
a. Newton Internet Enabler
b. Newton Devices
c. Newton Ethernet Enabler
d. Newton Internet Setup
e. Farralon PN895 Driver
f. 3Com Add-on (3comaddon.pkg)
g. 3Com Driver (3c589.pkg)
So that could be a problem as well.
My question is: Can I un-install those packages
and start fresh? If so, how does one uninstall
packages on the Newton 2100?
Thanks!
Mike
