Re: [NTLK] Newbie question about transferring data from one Newt to another...

OK, I have a USB to Serial adapter and connected. I installed the NCU
from the links below, configured the NCU software to use Comm 1 - which
is what the USB-Serial port is and nothing...

On the MP 120 I tap the extras, connection, Serial 9600 - Windows, and I
get the error "The connection was stopped because there was no
response".

I feel like Charlie Brown after Lucy pulls the football away at the last
second! HELP!

Other notes, I had to manipulate the System.ini file to include the
C:\Newton\TSIVID.386 reference, which is also where that file is and I
re-booted. I also turned on all of the comm ports inside NCU to see if
that helped, but no.

I'm pretty sure I followed all of the instructions properly, any ideas?

Paul Curtis
