I'm not sure this helps, I purchased a Viking 20MB Linear Flash on ebay,
but not from Brian Mills. It DID NOT work in my Newton 120 v.2.0...After
inserting, it looked as though it was going to format but then it failed
saying the card was write protected.
Being the newbie that I am, I wasn't sure if it was a bad card or if it
truely was incompatible. It was a good price and the seller was not at
fault. So, as a last resort, I contacted Viking online and returned it to
them as if it were an RMA. I am expecting it any day now and I was going to
post my final findings on the list: Is it or is it not compatible?
Worse case scenario is that I will sell it as "Recertified" on ebay with a
note that it is not compatible with Newton. You might be able to do the
same.
