Auctions are "buyer beware" and there is ample opportunity on eBay for potential buyers to ask vendors questions if they're uncertain what's being offered. If you don't like the seller's answer to the question _ don't buy. If you get an answer that misleads you _ I'm sure eBay would be happy to help you nail the vendor to the wall if you can back up your fraud claim.
But, please, let's not use the list for slagging each other.
