This says it all. (i.e. GTE posing as a different company. Ha, we all know
better...they're still GTE). Whenever I receive a telemarketing call from
Verizon about long distance service, I tell the caller that with as poor of
local telephone service as I receive, there is no way I would ever
voluntarily purchase service from that company. Once I even had one tell me
that he understood...
