I would go a step further and disconnect the Palm and restart the computer
and start possibly w/o all Palm Desktop extensions. This would ensure that
the PDT files are all closed.
It's like the CD burning under XP where I have to switch the notebook off
and on again to delete the temporary CD files. An old Windows illness which
recently swaps over even to the MacOS :-(
