3G - Third generation wireless. Basically, high bandwidth to your=
wiresless device. To make it complicated though, there is 3g voice and 3g=
data, then there is what sprint is rolling out and calling 3g, which is=
144k, but many people call it 2.5g, but others don't. Confused yet?
Add to that j2me (java for wireless devices) and the expanded functions of=
the hardware itself (to say nothing of the different systems world wide),=
and it becomes a really long answer.
However, it's VERY cool - I know that not getting a cell sucks, but the=
stuff that will be available and the stuff that you will be able to do=
when you DO have a cell is great. In fact, I am considering starting=
another company to develop 3g content.
