As a good American, I must warn the people outside this country that most of
the the dialogue from the left has been eliminated from this country and the
media, which is owned by the corporate elite, is able to beam their
propaganda at will. Because of this, the average American doesn't realize
that there might be some discussion on political matters and when a
different point of view appears, the average American has difficulty in
dealing with a challenge to what they have been raised to believe is the
truth. Because of this, debate in this country usually drops to name-calling
and worse; Americans have not learned to debate any political thought as we
have only one political ideology and one political party, the
Demo-Republicans.
In any case, there are some in the USA that do see the potential of other
political views, unfortunately, we are often yelled down by the vast
majority.
It would do most Americans a good service if they studied history,
especially world history, so that they could dilute their US bias. The
Russians could definitely argue that they contributed more to WWII, in
blood, than the Americans, as millions of them died. They believed that the
US dallied on opening the second front in Europe to bleed the Russians. I
don't believe most Americans even know that angle of the story. So, fellow
Americans, let's keep this jingoistic crap to a minimum, Okay.
