[NTLK] Earthlink dialeup trouble

Recently Earthlink assigned my area a new dial-up number (yes, just one),
and my Newton doesn't care for it at all. When I use the old number I have
no trouble from the Newt at all. However, I get email from E-link telling me
to use th new number. Any ideas what the problem with the new number might
be?
