You should definitely do a brain wipe, apart from your errors, your Newt
will be faster afterwards due to the fragmentation you're very probably
experiencing now.
Read the FAQ on how to, bit basically, make two separate back ups, do the
brain wipe with memory card(s) removed and restore from your backup without
the system info (since you're having errors)
