Yes, if you want to do serious web surfing, you want to have it upgraded to
a 2100, which basically triples the available memory. Without that upgrade,
that's what you're going to experience: Newton shutting down for no apparent
reason when trying to access some sites.

If you haven't already, get NetHopper 3.2 on UNNA. Then, go to
<http://www.kc.net/~drnewton> to check David Watson (AKA Dr. Newton) web
site. He used to perform the 2000 -> 2100 upgrade for something like $75 I
believe.

dinosaur n.: 1. Any hardware requiring raised flooring and special power.
Used especially of old minis and mainframes, in contrast with newer
microprocessor-based machines. In a famous quote from the 1988 Unix EXPO,
Bill Joy compared the liquid-cooled mainframe in the massive IBM display
with a grazing dinosaur "with a truck outside pumping its bodily fluids
through it". IBM was not amused. Compare big iron; see also mainframe. 2.
[IBM] A very conservative user; a zipperhead.
