Dear Sirs
I tried to ask for AvantGo-like functionality earlier this week
without receing a single reply. I searched the archives, and noticed
that some people claims there is no need for this. Let me specify
what it is that woudl be handy.
I would like to use my newton as an offline electronic newspaper,
everyday receiveing real-world and Mac/Newton related news on it. I
would then read it in the train on my way to work. This functionality
it seems like AvantGo provides for the Palm society, in a way which
makes it extremely easy to get an overview of what is included in
"todays update".
I woudl love a similar functionality for my Newt - connected directly
to the net, or by an AvantGo-client, which is actually able to
extract information from real avantgo newssources, and make it
available on my newt. And I would like it to happen automatically,
not forcing me to spend time on it in the morning - e.g. when it
anyways wake up in the middle of the night.
Is there any way I can do this on my Newt. Or just half of it.
Anywhere I can find information about the possible solutions?
I look forward to an answer - and to turning my Newt into an
electronic newspaper :)
Kind regards
Sune, Denmark
