Can I make a suggestion that would make the digest a lot easier to read?
How about putting a more distinctive separator between each message (like
two lines of =) so its clear where one message ends and the next begins.
With quotes at the end of messages, signatures and the rest it can be hard
to skip a message. One could also then use a search to find the next
separator and save all that scrolling.
Something like:
message1
===========================================
===========================================
message2
===========================================
===========================================
etc.
If it's technically feasible for the list to do this, we can have
nominations for the character used and length of the line to suit all
clients, as long as it's visually distinctive.
