The November 2001 updates for the Newton ebooks are now available:
All data is current as of 2001-11-02.
The ebooks with movies from the last 24 months and last 16 weeks are
updated. These books are updated weekly (check Mondays) but I announce only
once a month.
Next week the Recent ebook will reach its 100th edition!

Believe it or not, I actually added a small enhancement this month to the server. No need to download a new PQA because it hasn't changed.
Sometimes the default plot description is sparse, at best. Often, the IMDb has another link to more detailed plot information. I now support that link. Tap on the '(more)' link at the end of the plot description, if it's there.
It has been 10 months since the IMDb folks said they'd be providing their own web site for handhelds. If you're wondering why I'm not adding many new features and am just maintaining the server, that's one of the reasons why. Another major reason is that it's a royal pain parsing HTML.
I sent them some email a couple of months ago asking them for an update but didn't receive any reply. That's not unusual. I forwarded that message again in hopes of getting a reply this time. So I don't know what the story is or when they'll have their version out. Sorry.
