Looks good so far...after 3 hours! :-)
Initial indicators:
- The sky is awesome. There is a gorgeous moon with plenty of stars
showing on a clear, crisp, fresh new year's night. It's a high
illumination night, one where you can see the mountains in the distance.
The kind we used to feel like we were cheating when flying with NVG's.
- This list is doing well! Victor goes on vacation and the darn thing
keeps working. Awesome. Well except for Tech Ed. But then again, maybe
his electrons just aren't in a cooperating mode these days. So many
folks contributing and helping out others. Others developing software
and hardware items. On a side note to Stephanie --> You go girl! :-)
Sure our family squabbles once in a while, but we get over it quickly
since we all know the real purpose for being here...
- Newt 2100's will be available by the bushel load for around $150 in the
near future! Need I say more?! On a side note, I wonder if Woo will
ever have enough? :-) Say, Is it possible to die from ON (Over Newt)?
;-)
- The stock market has stopped tumbling for a while, and even looks like
it might be on the way up for a while. Nice to see some green instead of
all red...
- The Marines are being pulled out and the Screaming Eagles (Army) are
being sent into Afghanistan. I'm sure you've seen that in the news.
Great sign...
- Plenty of new electronic gadgets to drool over, especially here in
Akihabara. BTW, I just upgraded to a DoCoMo iMode phone. It's a hoot!
I am looking forward to January 7th and can barely contain myself
wondering what Apple has up her sleeve. A flat screen iMac would sure be
nice. Somehow, I get a feeling that it may be more than just a simple
addition of a flat screen to the iMac. Maybe I am just dreaming -- too
much sake over the, burp, oops, excuse me, holidays! :-o :-)
Yes, there are some bad indicators as well. But I've selectively chosen
to omit them. I mean, why the hell not? We get enough bad news already.
It's time to focus on the good things about being alive and healthy, and
waking up in a free world.
Here's to the board and our little Green friends! :-)
