Dear fellow green guys,
Thanks for all your help regarding my Newton that was electrocuted by my son.
Searching through the Newtontalk Archives, I ran across a suggestion from
either Frank Gruendel or Paul Guyot regarding a similar burnout - remove
cards and batteries then let the poor devil rest. Voila! My friends, I thank
you. It came back to life. A CE or Palm device would have bit the dust but
not our green friend.
Does anyone recall a package that allows you to save wear and tear on the
power switch by activating the package - Power On/Off or something like that?
I'm doing a web search via brute force and it's driving me batty.
I now keep Newton locked in briefcase away from teenage son.
Thanks to all and a safe New Year,
Anna
