Yup, got it working a week or two ago on a 1GHz P3 running Win2K. But, have
to use slowdown.exe with the slider bar 10 units to the right(~2/3 of the
way across the bar towards "slow"); that's as fast as I can push it without
reducing the FIFO send and receive buffers...might be worth testing! I seem
to remember someone stating that it is possible to run multiple slowdown.exe
sessions - I can see that this might be needed for those running the latest
P4's. Didn't need it though when running on a 400MHz P2 running Win9x.

really? well. I never tried it under anything but 95/98 at work. By
the time win2k was adopted, I was not working there anymore. heh.
So my next question being, for informational purposes only, has
anyone gotten this hack to work with Win2K, and what did you do, so I
can update my info.
later,
