Basically, back in 1998 we developed and tested software to run on the
MP2000(upgraded)/2100 so that interviewers could use them to collect general
information from study respondents (we also do data transmissions). This
information then determined if they would be selected to complete a full
interview which is conducted on a laptop. Because we had already developed
and tested on this hardware, we had to carry through with using it even
though Apple announced they were going to discontinue making them. As it
was, we had to get Apple to agree to a special manufacturing run to be able
to purchase the 1800 we have in inventory. Currently, we are finishing year
3 of a 5 year study and I am trying to do all I can to make this hardware
last over the next two years.

Well, that error could mean anything, really. Roughly, it tells you that
some abnormal condition had occurred while running the application and the
app didn't deal with the condition. This could be harmless or harmful,
depending on what you're trying to do when the error happens.
BTW, could you tell us about where you're working or a bit more about what
you're doing with 900 MP2000/2100?
